REGISTRATION AS A WORLD KANREIKAI KARATE STUDENT MEMBER

Each student registered and training at a Kanreikai Karate school must become a World Kanreikai Karate student member and pay the annual membership fee of $25 CAD.

• World Kanreikai Karate student members will be eligible to participate in stripe and belt tests, Kanreikai competition team training, and activities organized by their Kanreikai school and/or World Kanreikai Karate.
• Online services will also be offered to World Kanreikai Karate student members.
• A welcome email will be sent to each student who completes their registration. The registered student’s head instructor will be notified.
• The student (or head of family or parent if the student is a minor) will receive a username (email address and password) that will allow them to log in to their World Kanreikai Karate account. – One account per family managed by the head of the family or parent.

IMPORTANT:

• Only individuals currently registered and active at a Kanreikai Karate school may register as student members of World Kanreikai Karate.
• The registration process involves the payment of a membership fee, which is non-refundable if the registration is ineligible.

How to register online?

By choosing the OPTION that corresponds to the family situation of the student—or students—to be registered:

1. ADULT-STUDENT – An adult student who registers themselves and is the only student in their family.
2. CHILD-STUDENT REGISTERED BY THEIR PARENT – A minor student registered by their parent (who is not a student but is the head of the family).
3. CHILD-STUDENTS (2 OR MORE) REGISTERED BY THEIR PARENT – Two students from the same family (or more) registered by their parent (who is not a student but is the head of the family).
4. ADULT-STUDENT AND OTHER STUDENTS IN THE FAMILY – Registration of the adult-student (head of the family) followed by the registration of the other students in the same family. Family (children and/or adults)

Steps to follow for the adult student (head of family by default):

• Opt for “Not a Member? Create a new Account“
• “Are you a GUARDIAN?” Choose the “No“ option (default)
• Enter the required information for the adult student to be registered
• Pay the membership fee ($25) by credit card (Visa, MC)
• Digitally sign the contract and waiver of liability associated with the subscription.

2 – A child-student registered by their parent

3 – Children-students (2 or more) registered by their Parent

Registration can be done from a desktop computer (recommended) or a mobile device.

Steps to follow for parents of minor students (under 18 years old):

1. Registration of the 1st child-student:
   • Click on “Kanreikai Student – ​​1 year ($25) – Sign Up”
   • Choose “Not a Member? Create a new Account”
   • “Are you a GUARDIAN?” Select the option “Yes”
   • Enter the required information for the parent (Guardian) and the first child (Participant) to be registered
   • Pay the membership fee ($25) by credit card (Visa, MC)
   • Digitally sign the contract and liability waiver associated with the child’s registration
2. Registration of the second child-student:
   • Click on the tab “My Profile / My family / Add a person “
   • Enter the first name and last name of the 2^th child – Save
   • Click on the tab “Sign Up”
   • Click on “Kanreikai Student – ​​1 year ($25) – Sign Up”
   • “Who is Signing up?” Choose the name of the 2nd child
   • Proceed with their registration (Info, Payment, and Signature)
3. Repeat step 2 for the other child(ren) in the family, if applicable

4 – Adult-student and other students in the family

2. Registering a second student in the family (child or adult):

   • Enter the first name and last name of the 2nd student – ​​Save
   • Click on the “Sign Up” tab
   • Click on “Kanreikai Student – ​​1 year ($25) – Sign Up”
   • “Who is Signing up?” Choose the name of the 2nd student
